Program Educational Objectives (PEO)

Three to five years after graduation, graduates of the BSIT program are:

  1. Extensively-trained professionals who are equipped with analytical, technical, interpersonal, leadership, and entrepreneurial competence affording them maximum flexibility to assume appropriate ICT lead roles and to function effectively in multi-disciplinary and diverse teams;
  2. Cognizant to opportunities for personal and professional growth, participating in life-long learning processes, either on-the-job or in graduate school;
  3. Adaptive to the changing work environment, keeping abreast to technology trends and developments;
  4. Capable to lead and conduct ICT-based solutions, taking into account environmental, legal, ethical, moral, cultural and societal implications of ICT projects and researches; and
  5. Adept with the sense of professionalism and the personal discipline to succeed in their chosen career to become productive, responsible, and contributing global citizens.

Aside from conducting researches, the IT faculty and students also conduct extension and training activities as a way of transferring the knowledge gained and technologies developed throughout the years.

Training and seminars are enhancement activities that provide avenues for both faculty members and students to be updated and trained as skilled individual in their specific fields of study. Through the years, CEn has been proactively participating in local and international trainings and seminars, either as guest participants or resource speaker.
