On-the-Job Training Graduation
An on-the-job training graduation was held yesterday at the CLIRDEC conference, marking the culmination of a significant chapter for 15 dedicated intern students. These students completed 486-hour internships at the Department of Information Technology (DIT) and the Information System Institute (ISI). Their hard work and commitment were celebrated in a formal ceremony attended by faculty and peers.
Dr. Khavee Agustus W. Botangen, head of DIT, and Dr. Nemesio A. Macabale Jr., head of ISI, delivered opening messages, expressing deep gratitude for the interns' contributions in areas such as system development, website creation, and network administration. Both heads highlighted the positive impact of the interns' efforts on their respective departments. Asst. Professor Evelyn A. Villanueva, the OJT Coordinator, also addressed the gathering, congratulating the interns on their successful program completion and acknowledging their invaluable work.
The event concluded with remarks from Mr. Genald A. Andres, a representative of the intern students. He extended heartfelt thanks to the DIT and ISI for providing a nurturing environment that facilitated their learning and skill development. The interns' appreciation for the opportunity to gain practical experience was evident. The ceremony ended on a high note with snacks, courtesy of the student interns, fostering a sense of camaraderie and celebration among all attendees.
