First BSIT Capstone Project to be published internationally
Congratulations to Ms. Jenny Vi Abrajano, Mr. Jovith Nabua, Ms. Jenalyn Apanay, Ms. Chezalea Fay Peña, and Dr. Khavee Agustus Botangen for successfully presenting their paper, “IoT-Based Water Quality Monitoring System in Philippine Off-Grid Communities,” at the 9th International Conference on Business and Industrial Research, held at the Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 23-24, 2024. The paper results from their capstone project during their BS Information Technology program. Ms. Abrajano, Mr. Nabua, and Ms. Apanay graduated from the program in March 2023. Their capstone work has been co-supervised by Ms. Peña and Dr. Botangen. The paper is guaranteed publication in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, one of the world's highest-quality technical literature repositories in engineering and technology.
It is worth noting that this will be the first capstone project in the BSIT program to be published in an internationally recognized venue.
